Appeal Following Electric Bike Theft in Ipswich

Police in Ipswich are appealing for information after an electric bicycle was stolen from a garage in Broomwade Close.

The incident occurred sometime between midnight on Saturday 29 August and 11.30am on Sunday 30 August, when an unknown offender forced entry to a bicycle garage. Damage was caused to the electronic keypad entry system.

A 29-inch silver and white Witambike electric bicycle was stolen. The bike features bright lime green "WITAMBIKE" graphics on the frame.

The offender is believed to have removed the bike's lock and other security components, which were subsequently left at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time period, or who has information about the whereabouts of the stolen bicycle, is urged to contact police quoting crime reference 37/51379/26 via -
