Here’s our weekly round up from the Tyburn neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening:

Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have seized a car for no tax and no insurance on Compton Road on the Erdington Hall estate.

Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have charged an individual for a shop theft at the Fort retail park.

Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have been conducting proactive patrols on the Erdington Hall estate.

Tyburn PCSO’S have been managing crime scenes across the wider Birmingham area.

Tyburn PCSO’S have been conducting CCTV trawls to identify offenders.

We would like to make residents of Tyburn aware of a scam that seems to be going around at the moment. We have received a report in the Tyburn area last week whereby a lone female driver has had a male try to flag her down to tell her there was a fault on her car and if she pulls over he will fix it for her very quickly. Fortunately, the female drove off. There have been other similar reports in other areas of the West Midlands whereby the male has 'fixed' the fault that did not exist in the first place and then charged the female an extortionate amount of money. The male was very intimidating and persistent in getting the female to stop. Please beware!!
