NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING AND PREVENTION UPDATE. Monthly Community Update from Sgt Andy Williams – August 2026 Hello All I hope this message finds you well. As we move through August, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving. 🔍 Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: Youth Anti-Social behaviour in Haverfordwest and FishguardShoplifting in Haverfordwest and Fishguard Illegal use of E-Scooter and Scrambler bike use. We’re continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas, and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise. 🤝 Partnership Working We’ve been working closely with: Pembrokeshire County Council Housing, Noise Pollution Teams and Licensing as we look to tackle Community Issues, including ASB and Retail Crime.Pembrokeshire's Youth Justice Team - referring many youths through the local prevention programme to get them on the right path. Pembrokeshire's Roads Policing Unit, using technology to hi-light hotspots for vehicle ASB and also intelligence gathering to tackle drink/drug drivers.ATEB - Joint patrols carried out in Three Meadows, HaverfordwestThese collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs. 🧑🤝🧑 Community Involvement Thank you to everyone who’s taken part in: Garth in the Park Community Day Community Fun Day at Cherry Grove, Learning CentreCupper with a Copper, St. Davids. Play Day at Scolton Manor where we attended to support a community reading event. BOBB meeting in Haverfordwest with local licensees.
