EAST SHEEN NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH BRIEFING FOR AUGUST 2026

Crimes identified for NHW awareness in August: 

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

Three offences have involved vehicles being broken into. The three was where items were left in cars.  

Offences have occurred in Percival Road, Penrhyn Crescent, and Sheen Gate Car Park. 

Reminder to ensure vehicles are secure and no possessions left on display.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

Five offences of vehicles being stolen two were Motorcycles, two were Porche Macan’s, and a Kia EV6. all the car thefts reported were keyless. And the two Motorcycles were Locked. 

Offence have occurred in Gordon Avenue, Shottfield Avenue, Shrewsbury Avenue, and Elm Road.

 Residential Burglary

two reports of burglary occurred in August. The two involved garden sheds being broken into and a cycle being stolen. 

Incident occurred in Observatory Road, and Sheen Lane.

Theft of Cycle

Three reports of theft of cycles where locked cycles were stolen.

Incidents occurred in Sheen Lane, o/s Waitrose and Upper Richmond Road West.
