||
|
Dear Preston Residents,
We all play a part in keeping Preston a safe, clean, and pleasant place to live. Knowing whether an issue should be reported to the Police or the Council can help ensure it is dealt with quickly and effectively.
👮 Report to the Police: ✅ Crime in progress ✅ Suspicious behaviour or vehicles ✅ Theft, burglary, robbery, or criminal damage ✅ Drug dealing or drug use ✅ Anti-social behaviour causing harassment, alarm, or distress ✅ Concerns about violence or exploitation 📞 Call 999 in an emergency where there is an immediate threat to life or crime in progress. 📱 Report non-emergencies online or by calling 101.
🏘️ Report to the Council: ✅ Fly-tipping and littering ✅ Missed bin collections ✅ Potholes and damaged pavements ✅ Street lighting faults ✅ Abandoned vehicles ✅ Noise nuisance ✅ Housing and environmental concerns.
💡 Not sure who to contact? If it is a crime or someone is at risk, contact the Police. If it relates to local services, maintenance, or environmental issues, contact the Council.
🤝 By reporting issues, you're helping make Preston a safer and cleaner community for everyone. 📢 Please share this post with friends, family, and neighbours to help spread the word!
