Local Policing Team Community Update Monsell Drive, Aylestone

The Local Policing Team would like to provide an update on the ongoing work being carried out in the Monsell Drive area of Aylestone, which remains one of our local beat priorities.

Over recent months, officers have been working closely with partner agencies and members of the local community to address concerns raised by residents. As part of this coordinated approach, we have increased high-visibility patrols throughout the area, focusing on reducing anti-social behaviour and improving community safety.

Our officers have conducted a number of vehicle and person stop checks where appropriate, targeting individuals suspected of causing anti-social behaviour and disruption within the neighbourhood. These proactive patrols continue to provide reassurance to residents while helping to identify and address issues affecting the community.

In addition to enforcement activity, we have been working with partner agencies to improve the local environment. Officers and community partners have been identifying and reporting fly-tipping, littering, and other environmental concerns using the Love Clean Streets app. This collaborative approach has helped ensure that issues are reported quickly and that the area remains cleaner and more welcoming for everyone.
