Penzance Town Centre

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team hosted an engagement gazebo outside the old Lloyds Bank in Penzance today. It was wonderful to speak with so many of you and hear your concerns about issues affecting the town.

Having our police vehicle in this location also provided a visible presence and acted as a deterrent to anti-social behaviour in the area.

We were joined by a BBC film crew who were filming a feature on thefts in town centres and how the police work alongside partner agencies to prevent crime, support victims, and bring offenders to justice.

Being out in the community and speaking with residents is one of the most rewarding parts of policing. We value these opportunities to hear directly from you and strengthen our relationship with the people we serve.

We will be holding another engagement day in the town soon, with the gazebo returning in the near future. In the meantime, you'll continue to see us patrolling Penzance on foot alongside the Street Marshals most days.
