🚸 School Parking Reminder 🚸

With children returning to school after the summer break, we would like to remind motorists to park safely and considerately around our schools.

Please be aware of the new and extended road markings outside Broseley C of E Primary School. These additional restrictions have been introduced to protect pedestrians and other road users, particularly due to the reduced visibility for vehicles travelling up the hill towards the school. Keeping these areas clear helps ensure children and families can cross the road safely and allows motorists to see hazards in good time.

What do we want the public to know?

Road safety around our schools is a local policing priority. The new markings are in place to improve visibility and safety for everyone using the area, especially during busy drop-off and pick-up times. Officers will be monitoring parking issues and enforcement action may be taken where vehicles are found to be parked in contravention of the restrictions.
