Increased Patrols Taff Mead Embankment

Good afternoon,

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team have received a rise in reports from local residents and members of the public regarding the increase of Anti-social Behaviour, Sex working, Theft from vehicles and drug taking on Taff's Mead Embankment, Grangetown. 

Due to these reports the Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased patrols in the area to deter and identify offenders causing Harassment, Alarm and Distress to residents and MOP.  Crime prevention signs have been erected at the location for awareness and reassurance. Ongoing work with multi-agencies and residents will be carried out to combat these issues.

We ask local residents and members of the public to report future incidents via 101. We also ask to share CCTV/evidence you may have of these offenders so they can be identified and dealt with appropriately.
