Community Engagement Across the Beat

Dear Members,

Yesterday, PCSO 6178 Nicola Russell attended three community events across the local policing beat, commencing with Breedon Wakes in Breedon on the Hill, followed by the Diseworth Village Show, and concluding at the DHL Family Fun Day held at the Hemlock Community & Sports Pavilion.

Each event was exceptionally well attended and provided valuable opportunities to engage with residents, families, community groups and local organisations.

Throughout the day, PCSO Russell spoke with members of the public, discussed local policing matters and promoted the work of the Neighbourhood Policing Team.

It was also a pleasure to meet colleagues from the EMA Fire and Rescue Team and to work alongside partner agencies in promoting community engagement and strengthening relationships with those we serve.

These events provided an excellent platform to listen to community concerns, offer reassurance and highlight the importance of partnership working in helping to keep our communities safe.

Thank you to the organisers, volunteers and everyone who attended these events. Your continued support and engagement are vital in helping us build and maintain strong partnerships within our communities.
