Here’s an update on burglary locally. On 04 September 2026 at approximately 8:27pm, suspects gained entry to a property on Mitchley Avenue by smashing a front window pane. The occupants were not present at the time. Two suspects were seen inside the address before leaving the scene. Fortunately, nothing was reported stolen, although damage was caused to the property. Across London, we’re now arresting more than 1,000 extra criminals every month and seeing local crimes like burglary, robbery and theft start to fall, with ‘neighbourhood crime’ down 14%.
