Cuckooing Day of Action

SNT officers across Sutton are currently undertaking a Cuckooing Day of Action in partnership with the police and other local agencies. These operations involve visiting identified addresses to tackle issues related to anti-social behaviour (ASB), drug use, and drug dealing within the community.

Cuckooing is a form of exploitation where vulnerable residents are targeted by criminal groups, who take over their homes to carry out illegal activities, including the use and supply of drugs.

As part of the recent activity, two arrests were made, one for breach of a court-imposed tag/electronic monitoring conditions and one for Possession with Intent to Supply (PWITS) Class A drugs.
