The team have been out in the Chapel St/Foster St area of Blakenall and conducted a litter pick. There was a high volume of dumped domestic waste, some of the fly tip will have to be clean up by the Council, this comes at a cost. We urge everyone to ensure that if you have anything picked up by scrap dealers to ensure they are licensed and that the waste is going to be disposed of properly. Fly tipping is a criminal offence and has a detrimental effect on the environment, it can also attract pests such as rats.
Patrols have also been carried out in the Stowe St area of Bloxwich due to reports of cannabis related ASB, the team are currently working with Walsall Housing Group in relation to this matter.
A male was arrested from the Holden Crescent area on the 06/09/26 for breach of bail conditions.
Patrols and enquiries have been carried out regarding criminal damage of a property on Parson’s Way, Beechdale. The team have been able to make identifications by working with local partners, the suspects will be dealt with in due course.
PCSO Waddington attended Cuppa with a copper at Christ Church in Blakenall on the 06/09/26 and PCSO Marica attended Starbuck Reedswood the previous day. A shoplifter was taken into custody on the 07/09/26 after being apprehended by an off-duty officer, NHT assisted with the response team in ensuring the male was promptly dealt with.
