🚨 Cannabis Cultivation Discovered Following Routine Visit 🚨 |
||
|
On Tuesday 08/09/2026, whilst carrying out a routine visit in the Wembley area, PCSO Baker and PCSO Alem noticed what appeared to be cannabis plants growing within a neighbouring rear garden.
Recognising the significance of what they had seen, officers took immediate action by creating a CAD and seeking appropriate advice. Following further enquiries and attendance by officers, a total of 25 cannabis plants were seized from the location.
The suspect was subsequently invited to attend Wembley Police Station for an interview, where he made a full admission in relation to the cultivation of cannabis.
This result highlights the importance of neighbourhood policing and maintaining a visible presence within our communities. What began as a routine visit led to the identification and disruption of illegal drug cultivation, demonstrating how vigilance and proactive policing can have a positive impact in keeping our neighbourhoods safe.
Drug cultivation can contribute to wider criminality and often causes concerns for residents. We remain committed to working with our communities to identify and tackle criminal activity wherever it occurs.
This successful outcome was only possible through the teamwork, professionalism and dedication of everyone involved.
👏 A great example of officers working together, remaining observant and taking positive action to address criminality in our neighbourhoods.
