Vale DAS Announces New Dates for Community Training to Tackle Domestic Abuse in the Vale of Glamorgan

Vale Domestic Abuse Services (Vale DAS) believes that ending domestic abuse requires a united community approach. That is why we’re proud to announce additional dates for our ‘SAS: Support & Signpost’ training, based on the Ask Me programme, designed to empower residents of the Vale of Glamorgan with knowledge, confidence, and resources to help reduce the impact of domestic abuse.

Following an overwhelming response to our sessions earlier this year, we are holding training on the following dates:

Monday 21st September, Tramshed Tech, Barry

November, date TBC, Vale of Glamorgan

Wednesday 20th January, Penarth

‘SAS: Support & Signpost’ aims to:

Increase awareness and understanding of domestic abuse

Equip community members to confidently start conversations

Provide clear guidance on where support is available

Join us for this FREE one-day training session (lunch included). Following the session, you will receive:

A certificate of completion

A practical resource pack you can use in your workplace or community, including posters and window stickers

Access to the ‘Ask Me’ community network – connecting you with others for peer support, shared learning and ongoing guidance
