Ball bearings being fired in the area of Hampton Loade

Information Appeal | Hampton Loade

Officers have received reports that unknown persons have been firing ball bearings in the direction of properties within the Hampton Loade area of Bridgnorth.

This behaviour is extremely dangerous and can result in serious injury to members of the public. Ball bearings can travel at high speed and have the potential to cause eye injuries, cuts, bruising and other significant harm. They can also cause damage to windows, vehicles and residential property.

We are appealing to residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. If you have witnessed anyone using a catapult, slingshot, air-powered device, or behaving suspiciously in the area, please let us know. We are particularly interested in any CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage that may assist our enquiries.

Policing Purpose: To gather intelligence, identify those responsible, prevent further incidents, and provide reassurance to the local community.
