Recent Arrest

37 year old prolific offender, DEAN GREENAWAY from Merthyr Tydfil has been arrested by the neighbourhood support team following a series of vehicle interference offences.

CCTV footage shows Greenaway attempting the handles of numerous vehicles and stealing personal belongings from vehicles parked on Chapel Banks, Brecon Road and the Grawen area of Merthyr.

Greenaway appeared in court, where he was sentenced to four weeks' imprisonment, however, this activated a 26 week suspended sentence for previous offending, leading to a total custodial sentence of six months in prison.
