Local Dangerous Dogs Message |

We wanted to share a quick update about dangerous dogs in your area. In the UK, it’s an offence for an owner to let a dog be dangerously out of control, whether in public or private. Over the past few weeks we have had a number of reports of near misses with Dogs attacking other Dogs in local Park and people that have been bitten by Dogs that are not on Leads due to that we have been asked to send out a reminder to people that tey should have their Dogs on Leads and under Control at all times when in public. This includes both Large and Small Dogs because each of them are causing issues to visits in the ward. We know that all dogs do not bite or cause issues butit is of great concern to people in the Local area that if a Dog is seen not under control or seen around children and older people they cannot protect themselves from and dog if they try to bite. If a Dog has bitten someone or there is a report of a Dog that is not under Control the Police can Seize it and it could be taken from you if deemed dangerous. Please remember that:
