In your area: Walk and Talk Met police sessions (Violence against Women and Girls)

This is just to let you that The Blackheath Westcombe Safer Neighbourhood police team is holding their Violence Against Women and Girls Walk and Talk sessions on the dates below.

The sessions provide police an opportunity to engage directly with residents, discuss concerns around personal safety, and identify locations where individuals may feel vulnerable or unsafe.

During the walk, officers listen to community feedback, highlight available support services and discuss measures that can help improve safety and confidence in the local area. These engagements are an important part of working collaboratively with residents to understand concerns, build trust, and help shape future problem-solving and safety initiatives.

The sessions will be held on the following dates:

14th September 5:30pm at the centre of the under pass at Sun In The Sands SE3

22nd September 9am Hornfair Park at the Tennis Courts

25th September 9am Bramshot Avenue Under pass

3rd October 5pm Hornfair Park at the Tennis Courts on Sept 14.
