CRIME update for August 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Radford West Police beat area during the month of August.

Burglaries residential = 0

Criminal damage = 1

19/08 Alfreton Road – Whilst legally parked locked and secure, front nearside window of vehicle smashed.

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 3

07/08 Alfreton Road – Known female suspect has gained access to vehicle and money from glovebox stolen from within.

Between 12/08 and 13/08 Ilkeston Road – Vehicle left unlocked with back door open, wallet stolen from within.

18/08 Denman Street Central – Whilst vehicle left unlocked and unattended, male suspect has stolen mobile phone from within. CCTV footage of incident recorded identifying the offender.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
