CRIME update for August 2026 |

Dear Resident Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Hyson Green Police beat area during the month of August.
Burglaries residential = 2 13/08 Glenstone Court – Occupant hears a noise in the address and disturbs unknown male suspect trying to gain entry to address via window. 18/08 Bobbers Mill Road – Whilst occupants were sleeping 2x e-scooters and Dewalt tools stolen from the address.
Criminal damage = 2 04/08 Oakland Street – Report of neighbour having thrown paint on victim's house causing cosmetic damage. 28/08 Woodbridge Court – Report of neighbour having covered victim's door in yogurt, ketchup and makeup causing cosmetic damage
Theft of motor vehicle = 2 08/08 Berridge Road West – Report of e-Bike stolen from outside home address, bike was being tracked using apple air-tag. 16/08 Lambert Street – Theft of vehicle parked locked and secure at the side of the road near home address, stolen without keys.
Theft from vehicle = 3 11/08 Noel Street – At 2pm whilst making delivery, vehicle left insecure and unattended, wallet stolen from within, subsequently bank cards have been used fraudulently by suspect. 14/08 Camomile Gardens – Vehicle broken into and documents, money and wallet containing back cards stolen from within. 23/08 Hazelwood Road – Vehicle left parked insecure and unattended, wallet located to side of driver's seat containing money and bank cards.
