We’ve been made aware of a number of youths entering an abandoned warehouse in Kings Park, Wantage.
We completely understand the appeal of urban exploring. And know kids will be kids.

But there’s a BIG difference between watching someone explore an abandoned building online and actually climbing into one yourself.

At this particular location, youths have been:
🚨 Climbing over fencing with extremely dangerous spikes
🚨 Using broken ladders to gain access
🚨 Climbing through a smashed first-floor window
And that’s where the fun can very quickly turn into a trip to A&E. 😬

Abandoned buildings are abandoned for a reason. 
Floors can give way, ceilings can collapse, glass and exposed metal can cause serious injuries, and unstable structures can become extremely dangerous without warning.

Our team have been on site this week and have removed objects being used to assist entry. We have also met with the owners and worked with them to ensure the building is fully secured.

👀 Parents — please have a chat with your children.
We’re not trying to ruin anyone’s fun or stop them being adventurous. We’re just asking them to think twice before attempting to turn the latest urban exploration video into their own episode.

Because climbing a dodgy ladder, over spiked fencing, into a smashed window of an abandoned building isn't exactly the kind of adventure that needs a sequel. 🙈
