CRIME update for August 2026 |

Dear Resident Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the New Basford Police beat area during the month of August.
Burglaries residential = 5 04/08 Isandula Road – Attempt burglary whereby suspects have smashed a window to a property and broken a door handle. 17/08 Isandula Road – 2x female suspects seen in rear garden and have tried the rear door handle. Incident recorded on CCTV. 18/08 Reigate Road – Suspect has entered property, cleaning products and food from fridge and freezer stolen. Between 20/08 and 22/08 Draymans Court – Family member reporting their recently deceased father has had his mobility scooter stolen. 25/08 Alma Street – Untidy search of property, items moved around but nothing reported stolen.
Criminal damage = 1 24/08 Ford Street – At 12pm, all windows on front of the property have been put through.
Theft of motor vehicle = 1 Between 10/08 and 11/08 Gawthorne Street – Theft of motor vehicle, keyless entry car, keys stored in faraday box in house.
Theft from vehicle = 3 Delayed report 21/08 – 10/07 Mount Street – Front and rear vehicle registration number plates stolen. 18/08 Chatsworth Avenue – Suspect has breached the rear of van and stolen large number of tools consisting of drills, carpentry tools and mixers. 18/08 Chatsworth Avenue – Van broken into and tools stolen from within.
