Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 3rd September 2026 to 10th September 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough. The Police Reference Number (PR) with each of the reports is shown in brackets. Car Crime This week there has been 0 reports of a suspected theft from cars and 0 reports of attempts to gain access to vehicles. There have been 0 reports of license plates being stolen this week. Arrests. There were 45 arrests in the period September 3rd 2026 to September 9th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 8, Rape/Sexual Offence 3, Prescribed Limit 1, Drunk/Drug Charge 1, Violent Crime in a Public Place 4, Crime Public Order 1, Harassment/Stalking 2, Child at Risk 1, Theft 2, Robbery 2, Burglary Residential 1, Master Occurrence 10*, Criminal Damage 1, Offensive Weapon 3, Knife/Blade Possession 1, Pets/Domesticated Animals 2, Fraud 2. *A Master Occurrence is used when recording an arrest where a number of offences are recorded for one incident.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been 3 reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These included a report of a Telephone Fraud with the caller claiming to be from the Santander Bank. Burglaries North Between 04/09/2026 00:00 to 07/09/2026 00:00. Fir Tree Road, Epsom. Residential Garage Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the front door. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 45260109908)
