Dear Resident, We would like to make residents aware of two recent burglary incidents in the area. On Saturday 5 September at approximately 6:00am, a burglary occurred at a property on Woodhall Avenue. A lone suspect is believed to have entered the address through an unsecured side door and stolen bank cards, cash, personal documents, jewellery and laptops. A second burglary took place on Sunday 6 September between approximately 8:40pm and 8:50pm at a property in Lawn Vale. Four suspects forced entry by smashing a rear glass door. A significant quantity of cash, jewellery and personal documentation was subsequently stolen. We understand that incidents such as these can cause concern within the community, particularly regarding the possibility of further offences. We therefore encourage all residents to review their home security arrangements and take steps to address any vulnerabilities. We also ask residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, unfamiliar vehicles, or individuals acting suspiciously in the area. Prompt reporting can provide valuable information and help prevent further offences. If a crime is in progress, always call 999. For non-emergencies, report information to police via 101 or online at www.met.police.uk. Please take a moment to read the attached home security advice, which contains practical guidance and crime prevention tips to help keep your property secure.
