West Dulwich Safer Neighbourhood Panel Meeting - Thursday 17th September at Chatsworth Church Goodwin Hall Chatsworth Way SE27 9HN. It will be a good opportunity to meet new members of our Police Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Please see agenda below - as well as the normal updates we are using this meeting to focus on two priority areas of Cuckooing and associate ASB at 4 known houses in the ward and ASB associated with street drinking by the Rosendale Road Shops opposite Peabody Estate.
We will postpone the review of the Brockwell Park Live Events with the police officers on duty until a separate meeting in November date to be decided but provisionally 10th November.
We are looking to ensure all areas of the ward are represented at SNP meetings. Towards the end of the meeting we will be identifying reps for the each of the following areas and deputies for when they are unable to attend a meeting. Proposed Road Groupings for West Dulwich Ward SNP - Birkbeck Triangle - Carson, Rosendale Road Central, Rosendale Gardens Estate - Chestnut, Robson, Barston, Arduli - Clive Road, Martell and Tritton - Croxted Road - Dalmore, Eastmearn & Tulsemere - Guernsey and Hawarden - Idmiston, Chancellor and Chatsworth - Lairdale Estate - Lancaster, Lavengro, Hexham and Towton -Lings Coppice -Lovelace Road -Peabody Villiage -Peabody Hill -Thurlow Park -Trinity Rise and Brockwell Park Gardens -Whytefield Estate/ Sydcote In addition to these reps we require the following non- Geographic Ambassadors: -youth -LGBTQ+ -Multi-Faith -Business

Police to use the existing Public Space Protection Order to arrest people immediately where appropriate b. Council to send out public consultation around renewal of Public Space Protection Order(This is a Lambeth wide order) c Residents affected by ASB to contact Sgt Aneeq Anjum as first point of escalation - work phone ~ 07867276541email - Aneeq.Anjum@met.police.uk. If the work phone is switched off, use 101 or 999 depending on the crime being committed. d Council to speak to shop owners - re conditions of licences and also offer support to shop owners who feel intimidated. e. Council to address the problems regarding the bins - replace lid, ensure timely emptying, make sure they are located in an appropriate place. f. Cllr Cavanagh to follow up on resident requirements regarding planters g. Police to include area on their patrols - drinking takes place on all days, normally kicking off from 17.30-23.30 when shop stops selling alcohol h.
