Foot patrol (09/09/2026)

During Wednesday's shift earlier in the week, Rick was out in Rush Green exploring issues around speeding and providing an after-work presence (7.62 miles).

After working his way up through the country park via Foxlands Crescent's 'tree tunnel', Great Cullings (p) and all of Parish Fields (3.54pm) was patrolled over the next 50 minutes, including Jasmine Road (4.10pm).

From there, Lincoln Avenue (4.50pm, p) and the rest of the east side of Dagenham Road was covered across nearly 2 hours, which included the likes of Lilac Gardens, Laurel Crescent (5.07pm) and Footpath 155.

Thorntons Farm Avenue (6.41pm), Central Park (p), Fels Field (7.06pm) and the May and Baker Social Club also featured on the route back to Dagenham East after over 4 hours out.
