Positive Action – Dorset Street / Gurney Close, BD5.

A member of the public approached me regarding three vehicles causing an obstruction on Dorset Street / Gurney Close, BD5

The vehicles were parked on the pavement, blocking a dropped kerb and restricting visibility at the junction, which had become a source of frustration for local residents.

After listening to the concerns raised and attending the location to assess the situation, I confirmed the obstructions and took enforcement action. 

Three Fixed Penalty Notices were issued to the offending vehicles, helping to improve road safety, accessibility, and visibility for pedestrians and motorists using the area.

This action demonstrates our continued commitment to responding to community concerns and addressing issues that have a direct impact on residents' quality of life.

Please ensure vehicles are parked considerately and do not obstruct other road users or pedestrians.
