Drug arrest Astley & Tyldelsey

Whilst conducting patrols last night in the Astley area, Neighbourhood Officer PC Clarke and PCSO Alani intercepted a suspicious male on an electric bike on Ennerdale Road. Swiftly stopping the male before he could make off he was searched and found in possession of suspected Class A drugs.

The 53 year old male was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and remains in custody for questioning. The electric bike has been seized and taken off the road.
