Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property: ELLESMERE PORT WEST SuttonSutton Way – 30/8 - 3/9 - During a period of a few days and unknown offender has entered an unoccupied flat and disconnected and removed the new boiler. Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST Ellesmere Port TownBrancepeth Court – 5/9 – Large stone/brick thrown at living room window breaking both panes of glass.RossmoreCascada Close – 12/9 – Access gained to rear garden, possibly by climbing over a wheelie bin. Glass in rear window cracked. 2 metal curtain poles taken from garden and childs scooter. The scooter was later found at the end of the road.ELLESMERE PORT WEST GrangeSutton Way – 8/9 – During the early hours of the morning damage caused to the glass window in the communal area on the top floor of the flat block. Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST WhitbyStanney Lane – Entry gained into a locker at Ellesmere Port Sports Village and a Jordan shoulder bag taken.ELLESMERE PORT WEST Sutton Tarporley Road – 31/8 – Apollo mountain bike, stolen from outside property by unknown offender. Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT EAST Ellesmere Port TownJenkinson Lane – 2/9 – Entry was gained to a Ford Focus parked at the roadside during the overnight period by unknown means. A Chanel bag, a handbag, and a further bag containing football-related items were stolen.Ashfield Road – 2/9 – Entry was gained to a Ford Fiesta parked at the roadside by unknown means. iPods stolen.Woolam Avenue – 10/9 – During the overnight period, an unknown offender has attempted to steal a sensor from a VW Tayron.WhitbyStanney Lane – 9/9 – Range Rover Sport, whilst parked in the coach bay at Ellesmere Port Sports Village, has the rear registration plate, displaying 261-D-9549 removed and taken.StrawberryBrecon Drive – 5/9 – Entry was gained into a BMW 118i parked at the roadside by unknown means. A bottle of aftershave and pair of gloves were stolen.St. Asaph Road – 5/9 – Two reports received from residents:- Entry gained into a secured BMW X1, parked on a residential driveway, by unknown means. Search carried out within and the contents of the glove box found on passenger seat. Unknown if any items have been taken at this time.

ELLESMERE PORT WEST Ledsham & ManorLyneal Avenue – 2/9 – Entry gained into a VW Tiguan, parked on a residential driveway, by unknown means. Items taken but no further details.Hookstone Drive – 8/9 – During the overnight period, an unknown offender gained entry to an insecure BMW 320D parked on a residential driveway. A Lenovo laptop, Samsung mobile phone, and tobacco products were stolen.Stephens Terrace – 12/9 - During the overnight period, an unknown offender gained entry to an insecure Vauxhall Astra, parked at the roadside. Untidy search carried out within the vehicle and loose coins taken.St. PaulsWaverton Road – 2/1 – Entry gained into a BMW 335D, parked on a residential driveway, by unknown means. Search carried out within and cash taken from centre console.Sutton Spinney Drive – 2/9 – Several reports received from residents of an unknown male accessing vehicles:- Insecure VW Passat, parked at the roadside entered. Nothing reported stolen.

- CCTV footage shows an unknown male trying the door handle of a secured Renault Captur, parked on residential driveway before walking off.
Hope Farm Road – 2/9 – CCTV footage shows an unknown male trying the door handle of a secured Audi Q4, parked on a residential drive before walking off.Cholmondeley Road – 13/9 – Male reported having witnessed an unknown male climbing out of a Jaguar on Singleton Avenue before walking over and trying the door handle on his vehicle (no further details). The male ran off in the direction of Overpool Road after being shouted at.GrangeOverpool Road – 2/19 – Entry gained into an Audi A4 by unknown means. Search made within the vehicle, but nothing believed stolen.Atherton Road – 6/9 – Report of a male witnessed in the area trying the door handles of vehicles. – Male arrested and charged. Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT EAST Ellesmere Port TownHeathfield Road – 1/9 – Two unknown males wearing face coverings and riding Suron electric bikes stop next to a parked Vauxhall Corsa, smashed the windscreen and then rode off.Cambridge Road – 3/9 – Youth placed wheelie bin onto bonnet of vehicle (no further details) which has scratched the bonnet.WhitbyDeeside – 4-7/9 – Vauxhall Corsa, parked at the roadside has the rear window smashed.ELLESMERE PORT WEST St. PaulsWoodchurch Lane – 3/9 – VW Golf found with shattered windscreen and footprints on the bonnet and roof.GrangeSutton Way – 8/9 – During the overnight period, paint has been poured all over a Renault Clio which was parked at the roadside. | If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided. |
