**Ellesmere Area**
A number of complaints have recently been received from local residents regarding the use of the pump track.
It has been brought to the attention of the local Safer Neighbourhood Team that a group of teenage youths have been regularly congregating at the facility. Reports indicate that they have been intimidating younger children and directing them to leave the track, claiming that it belongs to them.
The identities of those involved have been provided to the team, and the individuals concerned will be spoken to regarding their behaviour.
The Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to remind all users that such behaviour is entirely unacceptable. The pump track is a public facility intended for the use and enjoyment of the whole community. All users are entitled to access the track, provided they do so in accordance with the rules in place and show consideration and respect towards others.
We would encourage anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour or has concerns regarding the use of the facility to report the matter to the local Safer Neighbourhood Team so that appropriate action can be taken. ellesmeretr.snt@westmercia.police.uk
