🚔 Traffic Operation | Ramsbottom, Tottington & North Manor Neighbourhood Teams 🚔

Officers from the Ramsbottom, Tottington & North Manor Neighbourhood Teams recently carried out a proactive traffic operation targeting vehicle crime, road safety offences and vehicles being used unlawfully on our roads.

During the operation, officers conducted a number of vehicle checks to ensure vehicles were roadworthy, legal and safe to be on the road. Speed enforcement was also carried out using radar equipment to identify drivers exceeding the speed limit and putting themselves and others at risk.

Officers continue to tackle the illegal use of electric and off-road bikes across the area, which can often be linked to anti-social behaviour and pose significant risks to both riders and other road users.

Operations like these play an important role in improving road safety, reducing criminality and ensuring vehicles on our roads are legal, insured and fit for use.
