Drugs warrant executed in Sutton |
||
|
This morning, officers from Sutton Neighbourhood Policing Team, supported by colleagues from the Territorial Support Group, executed a warrant at an address on Spencer Road, Hackbridge, following concerns raised by local residents about anti-social behaviour and suspected criminal activity.
During the operation, officers recovered a significant quantity of suspected drugs, including Class A and Class B substances, along with cash and other items linked to drug supply. Three individuals were arrested and remain in police custody while enquiries continue.
Officers also believe the property had been exploited by those involved in criminal activity. As part of today's action, the address has been returned to its lawful owners.
This warrant is the result of information provided by the local community and demonstrates our commitment to tackling drug-related crime, anti-social behaviour and the exploitation of vulnerable people. By working together, we can continue to make Sutton a safer place to live, work and visit.
Today’s operation has removed harmful drugs from our streets, disrupted suspected criminal activity, and addressed concerns that had been affecting local residents and the wider Sutton community. We remain committed to listening to our communities and taking robust action where concerns are identified.
We would like to thank residents for their continued support and encourage anyone with information about crime or anti-social behaviour in their area to report it to us. Information can be provided directly to police on 101, online via the Metropolitan Police website, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. | ||
