Good afternoon,

Today your ward PCSOs were with the LFB (London Fire Brigade) in Deptford, educating people about e-bikes and e-scooters and the fire hazard they pose!

There's loads of info on their website but basically, be careful where, how, and for how long you charge them because many of them spontaneously combust and the fires are not easy for the LFB to put out! 

In Lewisham, electric bikes/scooters are the main cause of fires, so be careful if you have one!
