When on patrol on Withington Lane Aspull we came across a male who tried to make away from us who was detained and the motorcycle was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 after checks confirmed the rider was driving without a valid driving licence and without insurance. The rider was reported for the relevant road traffic offences, and the vehicle was recovered accordingly. This serves as a reminder to all road users to ensure they have a valid driving licence and insurance before using a vehicle on the road. Failure to do so may result in your vehicle being seized, the issuance of penalty points, and further enforcement action. |
