We have received reports from residents about vehicles being driven in an anti-social manner across the Hanger Hill area. This can include excessive speeding, revving engines, racing, wheel-spinning, inconsiderate driving, or vehicles being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance to the community.

Under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, police have powers to deal with vehicles being used anti-socially where the manner of driving is careless, inconsiderate, or being driven unlawfully off-road and is causing alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public. Officers can stop vehicles and, where appropriate, seize them.

If you witness vehicle ASB, please report it and provide as much information as possible, including:

• Make, model and colour of the vehicle
• Date, time and location
• Description of the driving behaviour
• Any available CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage

• If a crime is in progress or there is an immediate danger to life, call 999.
