This can include excessive speeding, revving engines, racing, wheel-spinning, inconsiderate driving, or vehicles being used in a way that causes alarm, distress or annoyance to the community.
Under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, police have powers to deal with vehicles being used anti-socially where the manner of driving is careless, inconsiderate, or being driven unlawfully off-road and is causing alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public. Officers can stop vehicles and, where appropriate, seize them.
