Hello Residents,

Today, officers from the East Acton Safer Neighbourhoods Team attended Acton Park to host a "Meet the Met" community engagement event.

The event was well attended and provided an excellent opportunity for officers to maintain a visible presence within the community, engage with local residents, and discuss any concerns affecting the area. Events such as these are invaluable in strengthening relationships between the police and the communities we serve.

Throughout the event, officers promoted the Met Engage platform, raising awareness of the service and encouraging residents to sign up to receive local policing updates. We also distributed crime prevention literature and provided practical advice on a range of community safety matters.

A marked police vehicle was also on display, allowing younger members of the community to interact with officers and gain a positive insight into local policing. The vehicle proved to be a popular attraction, and it was encouraging to see so many families engaging with the team.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the event. For those who were unable to join us, we look forward to seeing you at future community engagement events, which will be taking place throughout the year.
