Officers from the Specialist Enforcement Unit (SEU) and local Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT) have been carrying out proactive patrols across Southwick and Shoreham to continue to address community concerns around the illegal use of electric bikes and e-scooters.

During targeted activity last week, officers seized two e-scooters in Shoreham, in the Buckingham Park and Middle Road areas.

The proactive work of the NPT continued this week, when officers seized a Sur-Ron electric bike being used unlawfully in Shoreham.

Alongside these seizures, our NPT engaged with local communities and gathered intelligence to support future enforcement activity.
