Community Reassurance Patrol

PCSO Naz, PCSO Martin and PC Omar carried out a proactive foot patrol, engaging with local residents and businesses and responding directly to concerns raised within the community.

Supporting local businesses: Officers spoke with a local business owner regarding an ongoing loading and unloading issue. By engaging positively with both parties, the team was able to help resolve the matter.

Supporting vulnerable people: The team engaged with a homeless male who was begging outside a shop. Appropriate advice and signposting were provided to help him access support from the council and Welcome Centre.

E-scooter awareness: PCSO Naz stopped a male riding an e-scooter on the pavement. He was spoken to, given a warning and provided with crime prevention and safety advice regarding e-scooters.
