Good evening, here’s a brief overview of what we have been up to this week;

🐶 PCSO Kipling & PCSO Harrison visited the Glow Nursery alongside PCSO Winwood and Police Dogs Jet & Ben, engaging with the children who have been learning about the police role.

🏍️ PC Douglas assisted a local Neighbourhood Warden in seizing a motorbike which was being ridden in the local area with no insurance. The male riding the bike was also issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice for littering.

🚗 On Monday morning, a male was arrested by D-Relief response officers for failing the roadside breath test, following a report of a male unconscious at the wheel at Newton Park Services. The male was later charged with the offence and will appear at court.
 

🧺 On Tuesday, a male who was out of prison on license was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and a racially aggravated public order.
 

🎫 PCSO Harrison & PCSO Kipling both issued Fixed Penalty Notices to vehicles which had been parked causing an unnecessary obstruction.

🎦 Speedwatch results from PCSO Kipling & PCSO Harrison for this week;

• Woodham Way – 1️⃣7️⃣ vehicles passed, 0️⃣ found to be speeding.

• A167 Aycliffe Village – 2️⃣0️⃣6️⃣ vehicles passed, 5️⃣ found to be speeding.

• Burnhill Way – 5️⃣7️⃣ vehicles passed, 1️⃣ found to be speeding.

• Greenfield Way – 3️⃣5️⃣ vehicles passed, 0️⃣ found to be speeding.

🔍 Officers have responded to numerous reports of high-risk missing persons over the past week.

🚓 On Friday morning, officers on C-Relief response arrested a male for being drunk and disorderly.

👮 On Saturday evening, a female was arrested on suspicion of assault, following a domestic related incident.

👮‍♀️ On Sunday morning, officers from RPU arrested a male who was wanted.

🚨 Also on Sunday morning, PCSO Fotheringham & PCSO Kipling assisted colleagues in the Ferryhill area with a scene preservation.

🔜 Our next PACT meeting will be this week. PCSO Kipling and PCSO Fotheringham will be at The Big Club, Sheraton Road at 5:30pm on Thursday 24th September.
