***Man Arrested Following Series of Burglaries and Vehicle Thefts in Dunnington***

On 19 September, officers arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with a number of offences, including several burglaries and thefts from motor vehicles in the Dunnington area.

The man remains in police custody while enquiries are ongoing.

We would like to thank members of the local community who have provided information and assisted with our investigation. Your vigilance, support and prompt reporting of suspicious activity continue to play a vital role in helping us prevent and detect crime, and in keeping our communities safe.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind residents to ensure that vehicles are locked and secured whenever they are left unattended, and that any valuables are removed from view. Taking these simple precautions can significantly reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.
