PCSOs seize suspected Illegal tobacco products in Waltham Cross

Over the last week PCSOs from the Cheshunt East Neighbourhood policing team have seized significant quantities of suspected counterfeit cigarettes and tobacco.

While on patrol in Waltham Cross town centre, PCSOs Sue Mills and Steve Jones identified a woman who was acting suspiciously.

After stopping the woman, she was subject to a search and a substantial quantity of suspected counterfeit cigarettes and rolling tobacco was discovered and subsequently seized.

These seizures demonstrate the vigilance, persistence and proactive work of local neighbourhood officers in tackling the sale of illicit tobacco products and disrupting criminal activity within Waltham Cross town centre.

The recovered items will form part of ongoing enquiries and the woman will be dealt with accordingly.
