Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Knowles Lane Saturday 19th September between 19:30hrs and 21:30hrs 

the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

 Suspect/s have gained entry by snapping the lock on the rear entrance door. Suspect/s have removed Jewellery from the property

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 19:30hrs and 21:30hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
