Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. 

The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 10th September 2026 to 17th September 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough.

Witness Appeal

We're appealing for witnesses following a report of an assault in Horley on Monday, 14 September. 

The incident took place between 5:50-5:55pm close to the junction between Russell Crescent and Victoria Road, whereby an assault involving two males has taken place. We're interested in speaking to the drivers of a white Vauxhall Zafira Tourer and a grey Toyota RAV4.

Car Crime

This week there has been 2 reports of a suspected thefts from car and 0 reports of an attempt to gain access to vehicles. 2 reports of license plates being stolen.

There were 43 arrests in the period September 10th 2026 to September 16th 2026:
