Hello Bloxwich Residents,

As our week comes to a close, our team wanted to share a quick update on what your local neighbourhood policing team have been up to. It has been a busy and productive week for the Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team.

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Over the past couple of weeks, Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team have been extremely busy, carrying out multiple arrests and executing a warrant with RSPCA.

Bloxwich Officers have arrested individuals for various offences including theft from shops, obstruct and assault a policer officer, driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to appear at court.

Our PCSOs and PCs have been conducting proactive patrols of Bloxwich High Street, Mossley, Turnberry, Dudley Fields, Little Bloxwich and Blakenall Heath, both on foot patrol and vehicular patrol.

Bloxwich officers with staff from RSPCA conducted a warrant whereby the individual was arrested for Obstructing a Police Officer and Assaulting a Police Officer. Two dogs were seized from the property and taken into the care of RSPCA.

Thieves are looking for easy opportunities to steal your car.

There are quick and free ways to protect you and your vehicle right now:

Take your keys out the ignition

Lock your car and check the handle

Use a steering lock

Check for the signs your car is locked – wing mirrors in, lights flash, alarm on

Keep your keys away from windows and doors

When out and about, share your location with trusted people

For extra protection, keep your car in the garage or apply a steering wheel lock.
