Good Morning Resident

Over the past 7days there has been four burglaries on the following locations, Durley Dean Road, Oakfield Road, Dawlish Road, St Edwards Road where offender/s have stolen T.V's and tools.  We have also had one theft from motor vehicle on Second Avenue, offender/s stole tyre pressure equipment. A black Nissan Juke Tekna vehicle was stolen from Manilla Road.

CRIME PREVENTION ADVICE

·  Please DO NOT leave valuables on display in your home and never leave items in your vehicles.

·  Invest in a full disc steering wheel lock for your vehicle

·  Make sure your fob has done its job. Check the doors are locked and all windows shut.

·  Invest in anti-snap locks for all your exterior doors

·  Invest in anti-tamper screws for your vehicles registration plates

·  DO NOT advertise on social media that you are going away on holiday

·  Use timer switches to plug lamps in, to come on at different times of day and night to show movement in your home

·  Invest in C.C.T.V

·  Property mark all valuables with postcode and a memorable word so if items are stolen and recovered we can return items to you. 

·  Make notes of serial numbers/IMEI numbers any distinguishing marks/logos

·  Please take photos of expensive jewellery so if anything is stolen you can show officers so they can attend stores that buy and sell these items
