NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING AND PREVENTION UPDATE.

Hello Resident

I hope this message finds you well. As we move through September, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.

🔍 Local Priorities

Our current focus areas include:

· Priority 1 – Neighbourhood and Roads Policing officers will be addressing concerns raised by community members in relation to speeding around MONKTON and HUNDLETON

· Priority 2 – A range of Anti-social Behaviour incidents have been reported in PEMBROKE. Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention Teams will be carrying out high-visibility patrols and working with partner agencies to provide reassurance and address these concerns

· Priority 3 – Your local Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention team will conduct high visibility patrols at Key beat Locations both morning and afternoons. Officers will tackle ASB, promote education to reduce driving offences at local key areas.

We’re continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas, and welcome any feedback or concerns you’d like to raise.

🤝 Partnership Working

We’ve been working closely with:

· Pembrokeshire Community Safety Partnership

· Community Cohesion Team

· Pembrokeshire Council Local Authority Housing

· ATEB

· Pembrokeshire Dog Warden

· Pembrokeshire Environmental Health Team

· MWWFS

These collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs and this is not an exhaustive list of the engagements that occur which also include Youth services, Community Mental Health Teams, Trading Standards. In the coming months I am looking forward to developing our working relationship with PCC Trading Standards supporting Trading Standard objectives.

Additionally a number of officers from the Neighbourhood team supported Police colleagues in the National Eisteddfod during the summer.
