🚔 Proactive Patrols Lead to Seizures of Illegal Vehicles 🚔

Last night, officers from the South/West Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) carried out proactive patrols across the South Ham, Kempshott and Buckskin areas.

During these patrols, officers identified and seized an illegal e-scooter and an illegal Sur-Ron motorcycle. Both vehicles have now been seized and will be destroyed.

Members of the community have highlighted the illegal use of these vehicles as an ongoing concern, and we are continuing to take positive action to tackle the issue and keep our neighbourhoods safe.

⚠️ A reminder: Privately owned e-scooters and Sur-Ron motorcycles are illegal to use on public roads, pavements, cycle paths, or other public land because they do not meet the legal requirements for road use, including insurance, vehicle registration, taxation and an MOT.
