Local Priorities Parking Issues Update

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Parking Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Blaenau Gwent Neighbourhood Team attended Georgetown Primary School earlier this week following concerns raised about parking during school pick-up and drop-off times.

👮‍♀️ Yesterday, the local ward team re-attended and conducted foot patrols to engage with parents and residents, provide advice and education, and help keep everyone safe during these particularly busy times.

We ask that you please consider carefully where you park when attending the school. Please avoid blocking pavements, entrances or causing obstructions for pedestrians and other road users.

Working together, we can help keep our roads and school community safe. 🤝
