We continue to appeal for witnesses and information following a serious assault on Lincoln High Street
Three men, aged 29, 28 and 22 years have been arrested on suspicion of GBH following the alleged assault on Lincoln High Street; they remain in custody at this time.
The 28-year-old has also been arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife or bladed article, possession of class A drugs. He has also been recalled to prison.
We continue to appeal for witnesses following the incident that happened on the High Street, outside of Dixons Opticians, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Earlier appeal
We are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in the early hours of Wednesday 23 September.
Officers were called to Lincoln High Street shortly after 2.30am following a report that a man had been assaulted. The victim, a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
As part of the investigation, we are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch. We would also like to speak to anyone who may have recorded any video footage.
